Strawberry Sugar Cookie

 ½ cup butter, soften
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tbs. Milk
½ tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Powder
2 ½ -3 cup Flour

In a mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar until they are fluffy.  Add in the eggs, mix well.  Add in the milk, salt and vanilla, mix well.  Add in baking powder and 2 ½ cup flour, mix well.  If the dough is still really sick add in a little flour at a time. You want the dough to be soft but not sticky.
Roll the cookie dough out on a slightly floured surface, ¼ -1/2 inch thick.  Cut out with a cookie cutter. Space the cookies 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookies sheet.  Bake 350 8-10 min.  Cookies are done when the edge of the cookies are lightly brown, or when you slightly press on the outer edge of the cookie and it springs back.  Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

Frosting
 ½ cup Butter
1 Pounds Powder Sugar (4 cups)
1 tsp.  Vanilla
½ cup Freezer dried Strawberries blended into a powder (it should be about 2tbs. when all blended)
3-6 Tbs. Milk (you may need a little more)

Allow butter to stand at room temperature for about 30 min.  In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.  Add powder sugar, vanilla extract, strawberries.  Beat in milk until frosting becomes spreading consistency.  Pipe the frosting onto cookies going in a circle starting on the outside and working into the middle.  I like to use the 12 or 21 tip.
