Chocolate Vanilla Cookies

1 cup Butter

1 ¾ c. Sugar

4 Eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

2 1/4 c. All purpose flour

3/4 c. Cocoa

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2  tsp. Salt

1/2 cup sugar

Cream the butter and sugar.  Mix in eggs and vanilla.  Add the in all the dry ingredients and mix. Use a small cookie scoop or a Tablespoon to scoop cookies, roll them into a ball, then roll in 1/2 c sugar.

And place on an ungreased cookie sheet, parchment paper or my favorite the silicone cooking mats.

Bake 350 8-10 min.  Let cool 1-3 minutes before taking them off the pan. 

Makes 4 dozen cookies

Frosting:

8 oz Cream cheese, softened

1 cube butter, softened

4 c. Powder sugar

Mix well

Mix the ingredients together pipe on to cookies using a 21 star tip.
